Johnny Bee Good

If you could be any kind of bee,

what kind of bee would you be?

Have you ever seen the wannabees

buzzing around their queen?

And though they are so eager to please,

they rarely have ever been seen.

Have you ever heard the busy bees

buzzing about all day?

Because they are too busy,

they never stop to play.

The honey bee is the sweetest one.

It gathers the pollen in fields.

And once it returns from a day in the sun,

a golden nectar it yields.

I kind of like the bumble bee,

clumsy and a little bit shy.

It really is the humble bee

which defies all physics to fly.
